A campaign should explain the type of assistance it intends to support. Be cautious about assuming that a suggested amount guarantees a particular quantity of supplies unless that commitment is clearly stated and supported.
Read the practical details
Check the amount and currency, and whether the contribution is one-time or recurring. Keep the receipt reference, and make sure you know how to contact the organization about an error, refund, or cancellation.
Separate registration from tax status
Al Bayan Charity is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation but does not currently hold recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3). We do not represent contributions as tax-deductible.
